I help moms get healthy and LOVE life

Jun 27, 2017

Today I have podcaster,  Teliah on the phone. Her show, The Balancing Act Podcast is still fairly new and rockin'!

Teliah is a wife, and entrepreneur. Having just over 4 businesses, including being the host of The Balancing Act Podcast, she loves every opportunity, challenge and growth moment that comes along with being an employer and working alongside her husband, Kylon. She loves teaching yoga at her studio and for her private clients and looks forward to building their dream home in the mountains of beautiful Washington State very soon so she can snowboard and work from home every day.

Teliah's podcast is still young, only  6-7 months old, so I wanted to have her on to share what her struggles were so that you can better understand that WE ALL go through these and it's going to be just fine.  She gives great tips and ideas, so listen up.

As a new podcaster, she loves everything that she does and wants to help others balance their loves, hence the name, The Balancing Act Podcast.

Teliah has been focusing on getting on as many platforms as possible and some she mentions are iTunes, podbean, google play, heart radio, sound cloud, tunein, and spreaker,

We also discussed reaching out to women entrepreneurs to get on more podcasts.

We all go through challenges in the beginning of our pod journey. She shares her here

Some parting advice from Teliah- if you really believe in your content, don’t get caught up in the details, just put your voice.

Come on and listen!

Welcome back to the show! Today I spoke to close friend and fellow coach Lisa Laura from Logically Lifted.

Lisa and I have been through a lot of things together including Nutrition School, trying to start our businesses when we were brand spanking new and knew nothing, and more. Now I have brought her on to the podcast as a guest expert and marketing genius with brilliant ideas and visions that she is making come to life.

Lisa is a go getter and visionary that makes shit actually happen.

Some fun stuff about her, written by her that will make you laugh and smile:

  • I wore a ginormous green bow for most of my childhood
  • My favorite ice-cream is Pistachio
  • I grew up on Long Island
  • I’ve moved 10 times in my life
  • I am fascinated by all things spiritual- meditation, yoga, crystals, tarot cards, rituals
  • Quotes are life
  • Actually, cheese is life
  • I laugh at a lot of stuff
  • Sports are my jam. I’m super competitive!
  • San Diego is my favorite place to be
  • Big horror movie buff [but I have nightmares, ahh]
  • The ocean inspires me
  • I want all the puppies

In todays ep we talk about:

How she got started

How to lose a guy in 10 days- the movie, she referenced

She didn’t want cube life, neither did I...

She always craved more

How to follow your goals or stay stuck

She found coaching!

Next came IIN and completely changed the perspective

Learned lots of lifestyle techniques

Thought the coaching was her calling but no, it was marketing, people were just coming to her.

Lisa is a big fan of a big vision but optimizing what's on your plate at the moment.
